Woods’ former gf dismisses appeal, claims ‘never victim of sexual abuse’

The legal dispute between Tiger Woods and his former girlfriend, Erica Herman, was dismissed Tuesday in a Florida appeals court.

Herman filed the lawsuit in Martin County (Fla.) last year against the trust that owns Woods’ South Florida mansion, claiming she was owed $30 million, the amount of rent she said she would have to pay for a similar piece of beachfront property for six years.

She also challenged the authenticity of a non-disclosure agreement with Woods, citing a federal law that makes NDAs unenforceable in instances of sexual assault and harassment. A lower court judge, however, ruled against her claim, writing she failed to “provide factual specificity” of any harassment or assault.

In a filing last week to Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeals, Herman said “she was never a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse at the hands of Tiger Woods or any of his agents and it is her position that she never asserted a claim for such.”

The appeal was officially dismissed with prejudice by the court on Tuesday.

According to documents filed in the original lawsuit, Woods and Herman had a “long-term relationship for approximately six years” and she was seen with the 15-time major champion at the 2017 Presidents Cup. The relationship ended in October 2022.
